The following document describes in detail the policies and procedures of makelabel.com regarding the printing of custom labels.  Makelabel.com and its staff strive to provide quality products.  The policies and procedures listed below are intended to protect our customers against any errors or misunderstandings that may occur when creating custom printed materials.

Ordering Procedure

  1. Orders may be placed by telephone, FAX, or mail.  A verifiable telephone number and mailing address must be provided. 
  2. Acceptable methods of payment for service are by credit card, pre-paid check, or NET terms.
  3. No order will be processed until such time that an approved and signed proof sheet is received by makelabel.com.  The preferred and most expedient method for this delivery of signed proof sheet is by FAX.  If FAX is not available, 1st class mail or other mail couriers are acceptable methods for delivering signed proof sheet. 
  4. Failure to deliver approved, signed proof sheet waives customer's right to return pre-printed labels based on style or aesthetic miscommunication.

Processing Policy

  1. Labels are printed on a first-come, first-served basis, regardless of quantity or customer.
  2. Orders are considered ready to be printed after approved, signed proof sheet is returned, or when customer gives verbal permission to waive proof sheet procedure.
  3. Once label order has been approved to be printed, allow up to 5 days for printing depending on size of order, stock availability, and current workload.   Most orders will ship within 2 days of receiving approved, signed proof sheet.   If for any reason an order will require more than 5 days to process, the customer will be notified by makelabel.com.

Return Policy and Procedure

  1. Returns of custom printed labels will be accepted only if information displayed on labels is incorrect, or the labels themselves appear sub-standard in comparison to our standard style templates displayed on this website.  Returned labels may be refused and returned to customer at customer's expense.
  2. No returns are accepted without prior approval by makelabel.com and issuance of a verifiable RMA number.  This RMA number must be noted on packaging.
  3. No returns will be accepted for reasons of font type, font point size, or barcode symbology unless differing from what appears on approved, signed proof sheet.
  4. No returns will be accepted after 30 days of order.
